Celebration of Life

Everyone is different. For this reason, all funeral ceremonies ought to be different.

While many families continue to prefer traditional funerals, an increasing number are now changing traditions in many ways. The purpose of a funeral is ultimately to bring peace and comfort to the bereaved, and I feel privileged to play a small part in helping you achieve this.

If you don’t want a mainstream religious funeral you get to start with a completely clean sheet. You can do anything you like. A good funeral ceremony will be as unique as the life lived. Non-religious and semi-religious/spiritual funerals are popular because they do what people want: they focus on the life of the person who has died and give thanks for that life.

I work alongside your family to create exactly the service required, taking into account the beliefs, cherished memories, hopes and desires of everyone concerned. Each service is individually crafted, honouring the person who has died and focussing on everything that made them special, loved and unique.

Whatever your wishes for the funeral service, please feel free to discuss them with me.

Pre-planning

Maybe you’d like a say in the kind of send off you get when your time comes, maybe you have some precious memories you really want remembered, or maybe you’d just like to give your family one less thing to think about at such a difficult time.

If so, I’m happy to help you pre-arrange your own funeral service.
